Continuing the trend that the Westside market has been following, another creative company has moved from the beach to Culver City's growing and thriving community. Gentleman Scholar, a multimedia production studio, signed a long-term lease for 7,322 SF at Blackwelder, a creative office and media campus in Culver City. The transaction is valued at $2.5M. Neighbors of theirs at Blackwelder include The Mill, Bandito Bros and Hungry Man.
Culver City is being seen as a more favorable location due to the significant cost-saving opportunities, the greater availability of creative office space, the new Expo Line, a revitalized Downtown area and the growing presence of hot, creative companies.
