blankspaces 3BLANKSPACES, one of the original coworking spaces in the Los Angeles area, told its supporters Wednesday that it is looking to open up a new space in downtown LA--if it can raise enough money through a crowdsourcing effort. BLANKSPACES, in a crowdfunding effort posted on Crowdfunder, said it is looking to raise at least $35,000 to bring coworking to downtown Los Angeles. The company said the funding will add data cabling, Wi-Fi access points, phones, displays, printers, audio-visual, and more to a 7500 square foot space downtown.

BLANKSPACES said it would give everything from a shout-out on Twitter, to private office space depending on how much people contribute to the effort.
