Kinetic Content Puts West LA Office Expansion Efforts in Motion

kinetic Got some nice press from RENTV on Kinetic Content's impressive growth in Brentwood. Unscripted television has continued booming and in just a short life span, Kinetic has flourished producing hits like Little Women, The Taste, Betty White's Off Their Rockers, and Married at First Sight. Was a great and welcomed challenge of aligning real estate strategy with their unique and ever changing business plan!

landmarkKinetic Content, a creator and producer of cross-platform, multi-genre content for the global television marketplace, recently agreed to two leases totaling 57k sf for creative office space on LA’s Westside. Avison Young Principal Jacob Bobek and Associate Jeff Vertun, represented Kinetic Content in both leases.

The larger of the deals is for 37k sf of space on the 19th and 20th floors at 11755 Wilshire Blvd in Brentwood. Kinetic Content, who already occupies 18.3k sf on the building’s 20th floor, is expanding within the property. CBRE represented the landlord, CalSTRS.

In the other lease, the firm took 20k sf just down the street at 12100 Wilshire Blvd. The landlord, Hines, represented itself. The larger of the deals is for 37k sf of space on the 19th and 20th floors at 11755 Wilshire Blvd in Brentwood. The company, which creates and produces TV shows including Married at First Sight, Little Women: LA; and The Taste among other shows, will be in its new space this summer.

“The Brentwood market is experiencing rising rents, due to increased demand and even higher rents in peripheral markets like Westwood and Santa Monica.” notes Vertun. “Although Kinetic was coming off of a well-below-market sublease in a building and market with rising rents, we’re thrilled to have been able to negotiate unique tenant-favorable terms to keep costs down for our client to foster continued growth of the business.”
