Shazam leases 7,000 SF in New Media District

S1 Shazam, one of the world's most popular music apps, has signed a new lease in L.A.'s New Media District. The New Media District is just West of the 405 freeway in West LA, before Santa Monica. Many creative companies have been moving to this market for slightly rents, central location, the new Expo Line station, and a nice synergy between related companies. Tenants are also finding that the more traditional buildings (vs. converted industrial buildings) offer better parking, connectivity, and security, which can be of huge importance of course.

Although most of the buildings in the New Media District are more traditional, compared with the converted industrial trend, the New Media District is proving to think outside the box and turn traditional office spaces into highly creative and fun work environments, as exemplified by these photos. 

Shazam's space features exposed ceilings, polished concrete floors, open floor plan, plenty of natural light, clean lines, and different fun features throughout including ping pong and shuffleboard.

Shazam is a great fit for this growing market and this trend looks to continue progressing.
